WELCOME to Equivet Breeding Centre- a specialty equine reproduction practice located on the Darling Downs in Queensland and operated by Max Wilson & his wife & partner Robyn Woodward. Equivet Breeding Centre offers a personalized, high quality breeding facility including the latest pregnancy diagnostic equipment & laboratory facilities.
The staff at Equivet Breeding Centre are personally involved in the horse industry so have a special understanding of client's needs.
For our veterinarians
Max Wilson, Robyn Woodward, Susanne Brundell and Samme Grounds - the breeding season is a very busy time with several hundred mares coming to the breeding centre each year for embryo transfer & artificial insemination using chilled & frozen semen. The practice specializes in treating problem broodmares & offers a special foaling down service with 24 hour veterinary supervision.
Stallion services offered by Equivet include semen collection, fertility evaluations & semen freezing. Equivet has quarantine facilities & is a registered semen collection centre for export of frozen semen. Equivet also stands several outside stallions during the breeding season & sends chilled semen collections throughout Australia.
